Project Manager

Allan Webb Ltd is a leading provider of Supportability Services to UK MoD and Industry, delivering engineering, training and P3M services.  We have a number of vacancies within our Project Management function to contribute as Project Managers.  These roles would suit people who have experience of delivering or supporting the delivery of a range of small to medium value projects. 

To be considered for this role you will need:

  • Evidence of delivering a range of small to medium value projects , control accounts or elements of semi-complex projects, using trusted project methodology principles, tools and techniques. 
  • Developed business cases and project management plans or supported in the development for larger projects.
  • Proven competence on Microsoft Office software and other project support tooling such as ARM.
  • Project Management qualification at fundamentals level or working towards higher level project qualification.
  • At least 3 years working either in Project Management or Assistance to project management such as Project Management Office.
  • Highly organised and able to multitask.
  • Strong attention to detail and proven problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Able to analyse complex issues and provide workable solutions to support time, cost and quality.

Typical responsibilities are:

  • Develop and control all relevant project documentation from project plans, schedules, status reports and risk registers.
  • Conduct internal and external stakeholder analysis work to identify and understand stakeholder requirements.
  • Understand and demonstrate the contractual obligations and the role of suppliers to meet a project’s requirements.
  • Manage risk, assumptions, issues, dependencies and opportunities for small projects, or support in larger projects.
  • Maintain financial control of budgets, and prepare invoices and estimates.
  • Maintain project delivery within defined parameters through effective liaison with the relevant departments.
