Allan Webb has been a leading provider of Supportability Engineering and Asset Lifecycle Management services to Defence and Industry for over 60 years.


Our team of experts deliver seamless solutions, covering everything from Integrated Logistics/Product Support (ILS/IPS) and training services, to comprehensive obsolescence and configuration management to ensure our clients’ assets are supported from design/concept stage, through to end of life and disposal.

Steve Rigsby

Chairman

Steve started at Allan Webb over 30 years ago and has risen to the rank of Managing Director, a position he has held since 2011. In 2022 Steve was made Chairman of the company. 

Rory Lipington

Managing Director

Rory joined Allan Webb in 2004, reaching the position of Sales and Marketing Director. Following a three-year hiatus, he re-joined in 2012 as Operations Director managing our diverse service portfolio. In 2021 Rory was promoted to Managing Director.

Anne Baxter MBE

Operations Director

Anne joined the company as our Programme Delivery Partner for Team Equinox, where we are supporting the Ministry of Defence with supportability, supply chain and project management. In 2021 Anne was promoted to Director of Operations at Allan Webb before becoming a member of the Board as Operations Director in 2022.

Lorraine Parkes

Business Development & Commercial Director

Lorraine joined the company in August 2011. She comes from a long and established defence background, and is involved in the development and delivery of engineering and supply support services. In 2023 she was promoted to Business Development & Commercial Director, taking over the company’s growing Sales and Commercial Departments.

Ian Hayes

Strategy & Capability Director

Ian joined the Allan Webb team in 2015. He spent almost 30 years as a Logistics Officer with the RFA and rose to the rank of Captain. His expertise is in surface ship support, ILS and supportability engineering.

Malcolm Hall

Technical Director

An experienced Director and Senior Business Manager within the Defence and Aerospace sector with a track record of developing teams, implementing change and delivering complex contracts associated with new product development and aftermarket support.

Gareth Jones

Technical Director

Gareth joined Allan Webb in 1989 as an IT Support Engineer, becoming the company’s IT & Security Director in 2001. He specialises particularly in a plethora of innovative solutions around data analysis, security and process improvements.

Andrew Lloyd

Finance Director

Andrew joined Allan Webb at the start of 2023 as our Finance Director, with overall responsibility for the Financial and Commercial aspects of the business. He is a FCMA qualified accountant and prior to joining Allan Webb has held Director roles across Finance and Operations in other Defence Technology businesses.

George Walker

Regional Development Director

George joined Allan Webb in 2022 as the company’s Sales & Marketing Director following 30 years in the Royal Navy and 10 years providing Design, ILS and Project Management support to surface ships within the defence industry. In 2023 George was appointed Regional Development Director to the Australasian Market.

Lawrence Eyles

Head of Land

Lawrence joined the company in 2010 after 20 years in the MOD. He has experience in support of requirements capture, project management, development and delivery of engineering and support services.

Matt Hill

Business Development Manager

Matt, joined Allan Webb in 2021 as a Business Development Manager after spending 20 years in the Royal Air Force working within the front line operations on fast jet and wide-bodied aircraft and 10 years in commercial aviation. Matt brings a wealth of aviation experience from both the user and supplier communities on top of his strong engineering background.

Martin Barrett

Business Development Manager

Martin joined Allan Webb in 2022 in an operations capacity, before joining the Business Development team in 2023. He has over 30 years’ experience in the Aerospace, Defence and Commercial Technical Publications and Graphics industry and, prior to joining Allan Webb, held a Managing Director role in another Technical Publications business.

Simon Mutton

Operations Manager

Simon joined Allan Webb in 2014 as Operations Manager and is responsible for the delivery projects across the company. He has a technical background and served for 12 years in the Royal Engineers.

Robin Lawlor

Head of Support Engineering

Robin joined Allan Webb in 2020 as an ILS Manager after 10 years in the commercial maritime sector. Specialising in Marine Engineering including Operations, maintenance and Naval vessel Survey, he is now Head of Support Engineering working tirelessly with clients to deliver ILS, IPS, ARM and Safety.

Tim Elliott

Head of Obsolescence Management

Tim is an APM Chartered Senior Project Manager and Obsolescence Specialist who has excelled in delivering complex end-to-end technical engineering programmes, capabilities and support solutions with the view to deliver a significant benefit for the End User.

Will Haydock

Technical Documentation Capability Lead

Will joined Allan Webb as Technical Publications Capability Lead after 7 years of working in this field. Specialising in Land Systems, he prides himself on being able to tailor each project to his clients’ specific requirements, in order to offer the best possible service and value.

Gareth Baker

Head of HR

Gareth joined Allan Webb in 2021. He has over 20 years’ experience leading HR Teams in South Africa and the United Kingdom. He is responsible for providing strategic guidance and leadership for all aspects of the human resources function.
