Allan Webb Retains SC21 Silver Award for a Third Year

What is SC21?

Supply Chains for the 21st Century (SC21) is an improvement programme designed to accelerate the competitiveness of the Aerospace and Defence industry by raising the performance of its supply chains. The programme is endorsed by all major UK Aerospace and Defence companies and is overseen by the Aerospace Growth Partnership (AGP) and delivered by ADS at a national level. It has an industry commitment to focus on delivering a globally competitive UK supply chain within the Aerospace, Defence, Security and Space sector.

Allan Webb’s Journey to Silver

Allan Webb has been on the SC21 journey for a little over 5 years which has been a catalyst for the implementation of many continuous improvement initiatives across the company. 

In order to have achieved and maintained Silver accreditation, our teams were required to monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in Quality (Right First Time (RFT)) & Delivery (On Time In Full (OTIF)) and meet the minimum threshold of 99.5% RFT and 95% OTIF over a 12 month rolling average. Our latest figures, submitted for audit, indicated that we surpassed these targets with a rolling average of 99.99% RFT and 99.99% OTIF between 2018 and 2020.

The impact of adopting SC21 has been huge and seen a noticable growth in customer satifaction which has increased from an annual average of 82.2% to 88.8% since 2015.
